Productive visiting in Bulgaria: Enhance the trust, facilitate the project, and deepen collaboration

In 2025, Dorian team went to Bulgaria and visited clients onsite from 21st Sep. to 11th Oct., which has reached various achievements. Not only negotiate in the office, check the onsite project land and facilitate the progress, but also have productive discussions and explore more cooperation opportunities. This wonderful visit established the solid trust between the clients and the Dorian team, and Dorian team also explicitly understood the market conditions in Bulgaria.

Round-table in the client’s office

Dorian team was invited to the client’s office to negotiate the project of 27*110*8m steel structure warehouse. The drawing and quotation had already been designed in advance and offered to the client for checking. In the conference, Dorian team reconfirmed lots of details about profiles, and explained the properties and specifications of materials to make the clients understand the proposal. The designer suggested uing the 100mm rock wool sandwich panels with the PU edge sealing, which not only can satisfy the storage requests from the client, but also enhances the overall quality of the whole building. Then, adjustments were made to some details based on the client's requirements, such as the dimensions of the doors and canopy, to meet the client's practical needs for daily use.

Furthermore, Dorian team discussed the schedule of the installation process, and combined with the application procedure for the building permission in the local area. Accordingly, we arranged the best way and time for producing and shipping, which can help the client save the redundancy costs as much as possible. Meanwhile, base on the local construction conditions, we adjust the delivery time in order to avoid the installation delay due to the climate.

In the final, the client also wants to purchase the other products, like solar panels and the battery (energy products). And they want to seek more supply chain opportunities through us. The project is under the approval stage, and client is prepared to pay the deposit.

Ace vs. Ace, professional technical discussion

Besides the requirements for the building daily using from the clients, the structure proposal is the most significant thing. The client’ s project is about the old building extend and renovate the parts of the old building. Aim to take full use of the spare space between old buildings and reinforce the old building. For this point, the Dorian team followed the client to meet the local constructure engineer.

In advance, Dorian team designed two methods as options for the client to choose from. One is chemical bolts, and another is welding angle steel, to connect the new steel structure frame to the old concrete building. Then, Chief Engineer discussed with the local constructure engineer about the condition constraints and the feasibility of the technical proposal to compare two methods, which one is better for the steel structure solutions that extended the existing old building, and optimized the proposal accordingly.

Finally, this meeting facilitated Dorian team to reach an agreement with the local constructure engineer, which ensured the structural safety as the premise and pushed forward the project to the next stage efficiently.

A Pleasant dining time!

Not only on the office table. Beyond working time, Dorian team built strong friendships with many clients. The team had many unforgettable times, exchanging different cultural backgrounds, sharing different dietary habits—these help us get to know each other better and deeper, and trust grows! Really appreciate the clients taking us to try the local special cuisine.

During the dining time, we also talked about many meaningful topics, such as Dorian’s factory in China, the services it can provide, and Luoyang city—the beautiful and peaceful city where Dorian’s factory is located. Besides providing steel structure, color steel sheet, sandwich panels, The factory can also supply including solar panels, batteries, cranes and other supporting equipments. For the prefabrication steel, we can ensure an output of about 3,000 tons monthly, which is really impressive for the clients.

In the end, there are some other real issues/needs from the client, Dorian team provided the solutions, and had made the agreement for procured project about the works to installation and estimated finished time with client. Meanwhile, the initial proposal for the next project has been under designed.

On-site inspection for the project land

In order to fully realize the real condition of the project, Dorian team went to the project land and checked all the details that may affect the new steel structure building. We inspected the existing building to make sure the new building will be erected next to the old one in a proper way.

Including the arrangement between the old and new foundation, the reasonable gaps between the two buildings to avoid the impact of deformation between each building, and also save costs. The designer checked the size of the project place to consider the subsequent way of accessing for the trucks in order to adjust the layout of the doors and the distance between the steel columns in the most appropriate way, which can be more convenient. Moreover, Dorian team suggested client select the rock wool sandwich panels and fireproof painting to meet the local strict requirements for fire resistance.

By the on-site inspection, client is very satisfied with Dorian’s professional suggestions, and agrees with the final proposal. Now, the client is ready to place the order and discuss the installation period.

Honor to be invited to the Exposition

During the visit, Dorian team had been invited to participate in the 79th International Technical Fair between 24th and 27th September 2025 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Many clients with high interest came to booth to check our product information and finished cases about the steel structure building. In just two days, all of the intro files have been distributed, which shows the great popularity. During this period, Dorian team helped many clients to know the feasibility of their project, the general budget, and the initial proposal, which got the approval from the clients. We are very pleased and honored to have the chance to help clients resolve their issues and seek further cooperation opportunities.

Although the visit has ended, there are more and more projects from Bulgarian clients we have received. Really appreciate that so many clients trust Dorian, even willing to introduce more clients for us.
