Dorian Steel Structure & The Architect’ 25 in Thailand

The Architet’25 will be held in the capital Bangkok,Thailand, once a year. It has been held for 37 times so far. It is also the most professional, best trade opportunity, most authoritative and most important exhibition in Thailand. Every year, it attracts many professional visitors and exhibitors to seek cooperation opportunities.

The Architet’25 is the third largest exhibition in Asia, with an exhibition area of more than 75,000 square meters. The exhibition is held once a year. In 2024, it attracted more than 800 companies from all over the world including Germany, Taiwan, Italy, France, the United States, Australia, Malaysia, Japan, and other ASEAN countries to participate in the exhibition, and about 150 Chinese exhibitors. The flow of people exceeded 300,000 people.

With the rapid economic development of the two countries and the continuous improvement of the market economic system, bilateral economic and trade cooperation has basically moved away from the single situation of relying mainly on commodity trade and government agreements in the past.

Welcome Bulgarian customer to visit Dorian factory

In October 2024, the client from Libya visited Dorian Company for the first time. During the visit, he toured factory and observed the production line, gaining a comprehensive understanding of Dorian manufacturing capabilities and excellent product qualitys. Impressed by Dorian operations, he returned in February 2025 to discuss the project detail, demonstrating his trust in Dorian.

The project is an aircraft hangar, designed to accommodate specific aircraft models provided by the client. Given the complexity and high technical requirements of the project, Dorian’s team collaborated with a design institute to develop a solution. The final design features a spherical grid structure measuring 160x75x17.5 meters. Despite the tight deadline, Dorian team completed the design in just four days, a feat that left the client highly satisfied with Dorian efficiency and expertise.

During his two-week stay in Luoyang, the client spent significant time in Dorian office, where discussed the project in detail. He also had other business commitments in different cities, and Dorian’s team ensured seamless transportation throughout his trip. He expressed deep gratitude for Dorian hospitality, noting that he felt treated not just as a client, but as a friend. He even mentioned his intention to visit Dorian a third time, further solidifying Dorian and his strong relationship.

At present, the client has since returned to Libya to discuss the project’s finer details with his team. He will provide Dorian with a final decision once these discussions are complete. Project Overview:
Dorian team is proud to present the steel structure warehouse solution designed for client’s aluminum alloy window production business in Thailand. The warehouse, measuring 15m (width) x 65m (length) x 10.15m (height), is tailored to meet production needs while combining functionality, durability, and aesthetic appeal.

Single-Slope Steel Frame with Parapet Walls:

The steel structure features a single-slope design, enhanced by parapet walls on all sides for a sleek and modern appearance.The steel beams and columns are painted in a vibrant orange-red color, adding a professional and visually appealing touch. Moreover,Louvers are installed around the walls to ensure proper ventilation, creating a comfortable working environment.

The roof and wall panels were designed with classic gray metal sheet, providing a cohesive and professional look.

A 3-ton overhead crane was also supplied by Dorian to facilitate the movement of window materials and streamline the production process.

Efficient Drainage System:

Gutters and downpipes are also installed along the eaves to ensure effective rainwater drainage, protecting the structure and maintaining a dry interior.

Convenient Access and Maintenance:

Two electric roller shutters are installed for easy access to the warehouse. A ladder is provided at the rear of the building, allowing workers to safely access the roof for inspection and maintenance.

Production:

During the production phase, the client visited Dorian factory and were highly impressed by production scale, manufacturing capabilities, and product quality. To make the client’s trip more memorable, Dorian team arranged visits to Luoyang’s famous tourist attractions, including the White Horse Temple and Shaolin Temple. These experiences left a lasting impression and further strengthened our partnership.

Delivery and installation: The materials were finished in approximately 25 days and took about 10 days delivered to the project site.Dorian’s professional installation team was dispatched to complete the installation work for client. As of now, the entire steel structure installation has been successfully completed.

Only the brick wall construction remains, which is being handled by local workers. The warehouse is expected to be operational within this month.

Dorian team and client is currently discussing a new energy solution for the finished 15*65*10.15m project.. The plan includes installing solar panels on the roof and providing a comprehensive system to enhance energy efficiency. The new energy technician is also being fine-tuned with client in Thailand and working on the final details.

5-Story Commercial Building Project:

The preliminary drawings and a quotation of 5-story commercial building project have been provided for client . The details are under further discussion and collaboration continues to grow.

Datuk Derek Chong Leads Delegation to Dorian Factory, Strengthening Prospects for Malaysian & ASEAN Market Cooperation

In February, Datuk Derek Chong, President of the Malaysian Henan Chamber of Commerce, led a distinguished delegation comprising members of the Malaysian Henan Chamber of Commerce, representatives from the Penang State Islamic International Management Agency, and the Principal of the Penang International Islamic Development and Sustainability Institute, to visit the Dorian factory.

During the visit, Datuk Derek and Dorian’s management engaged in comprehensive discussions on future development plans, focusing on establishing a branch office in Malaysia to serve as a hub for the entire Southeast Asia and ASEAN markets. The talks highlighted Dorian’s breakthrough from ground zero in the Malaysian market and outlined prospects for deeper future cooperation. Additionally, Datuk Derek announced plans to develop an industrial park in Penang, with Dorian slated to provide architectural design, as well as production, transportation, and installation guidance. Background:

In 2024, Dorian established a connection with the client at the Thailand Architect Exhibition. The client expressed plans to construct a steel structure warehouse for sales purposes. During the initial meeting, Dorian provided detailed introduction to manufacturing capabilities, and several completed projects in Thailand locally. Impressed by Dorian’s professionalism, attention to detail, and the quality of steel structures, the client decided to move forward with the project.

Project design:

The project design was gradually confirmed through a series of meetings and on-site assessments, during, coupled with in-depth discussions on the client’s specific requirements and preferences. After careful consideration, the client decided to use single-layer steel panels for the wall and roof, for the need for better insulation, the colour was chosen to be industrial gray. Since Thailand has long hours of sunshine, and the dark color helps in reducing heat absorption. Meanwhile, in order to enhance interior lighting within the warehouse, the skylight panels were added on the roof. Given Thailand’s tropical climate, which is characterized by high temperatures and humidity, the 2m brick wall was designed which has the function of protection of steel warehouse.

Considering the office needs, the client requested to add a 5*10m mezzanine floor to serve as an office space on the side of a 7.5m high eaves wall. Dorian designed the office area’s internal partition walls using 50mm thick rock wool sandwich panels, which provide excellent thermal insulation. For the exterior walls, brick was chosen for its durability and thermal properties.

This final design approach not only meets the client’s needs but also ensures comfort and durability, and it has been recognized by the client. By the middle of 2024, the client decided to purchase from Dorian, payment was completed in July.

Installation:

The foundation plan was sent to the customer prior to shipment so that the foundation work has been completed before the customer receives the goods. Upon the cargo's arrival at the project site, the construction team finished the installation under Dorian's supervision and guidance. The erection process took only nearly one month. Then, Dorian’s electrical engineer provided guidance during the installation of the solar power system and ensured its connection to the grid.

Once production is completed, all steel frames are carefully placed on steel pallets, then using steel belt to fix the goods, which ensures the quality of the products during transportation. Additionally, the use of steel pallets makes the unloading process more convenient for the customer.

The installation of the project was finished by client’s local installation team. However, to ensure quality and precision, Dorian’s Thailand team, including engineers and salesmen, provided on-site technical guidance throughout every stage of the process—from foundation work to the installation of the steel structure, wall panels, and roof panels. The project will be put in use next month.
