Project background:
The client was from Philippines and mainly specializes in selling kinds of industrial, agriculture and commercial equipment locally. He purchased two steel structure buildings already from Dorian in 2020&2021. The two projects size were the same, both they were 20x50x6m and attached into 40x50x6m together, which had been in use for several years, client is pretty satisfied.
In order to expand the business, client plan to another one and inquired to Dorian in July, the original size was 40x50x6m and it will also required to be attached with previous projects.
Project design:
As the new building need to be attached with previous projects, Dorian engineer designed same column spacing as the previous. The new project layout was also required to design into same structure as last two. The design was twin span, and 25m for each span, and two types gutter(metal sheet gutter and galvanized gutter). Galvanized gutter were placed in the middle of span, metal sheet gutter was placed in the two sides span to save cost.
Sharing one side wall panel was also to be taken into account in design. Both roof and wall are the same metal sheet (gray roof and white wall) with last two. Likewise, transparent panels were put on the roof to get more sunlight during the day.
In addition, the four sliding doors, four roll up doors with a small door were also required to design to facilitate access for his equipment and trucks. In order to keep the whole building in fresh air condition, windows and roof ventilators are also considered .
Dorian provided the layout drawing and quotation in 10 hour after confirmed all the details. Client revealed that he was very satisfied with Dorian price, but he was applying the permission and need sometime, he will order once acquire it.
Client got the permission in Oct finally, and the project size was modified into 45x50x6m according to client need, since he wanted expand 5x40m to be used as one big canopy. Besides, client hope Dorian help him to search 4pcs additional electrical exhaust fans, which will be cooler for the steel building. After updated the proposal and quotation to client, he ordered to Dorian in three days.
Production & Delivery
All the doors and steel frame was still needed to be painted with white. The client hope can receive goods soon, so after confirmed color details, Dorian gave priority to produce his goods, which were finished production in 14days and loaded in the 3pcs 40HQ containers. Dorian workers took three days to pack the goods to fix on steel frame pallet, this can avoid collision and broken during transportation.
The goods are placed in the port of Qingdao and waiting to deliver to the Manila port, we will share you with more information if any update later.
