Background
In order to attract investment, the Ruyang government plans to establish an industrial zone in 2025. Through bidding, Dorian was qualified to build three of the main buildings, providing one-stop services from design to production to construction.
Design
The overall design of the three buildings is the same, but the sizes are not exactly the same. Two of them are exactly the same size, both 5,000 square meters, which size is 88*60*14m, main structure is 80*60*14m, two spans, which have middle column; and the size of another workshop is 30x88x14m, the main building is 30*80*14m. each of three workshops has a three-storey office building located in the same position on the wide side,which size respectively is 8*60*14m and 8*30*14m.
All other aspects of the three buildings are identical, such as 14m is clear height, and slope degree is about 10, the highest height is exceed 15m, adding 1m parapet, Unlike ordinary industrial buildings, for the sake of building safety, gutter brackets and special fire facilities are added inside.
For thermal insulation and aesthetic reasons, the wall panels are constructed with double-layer layers: the inner panels are 900mm width white steel sheet, while the outer panels adopted 50mm thick PU edge-sealed rock wool panels, and choose in the combination of gray, white, and orange, aside that, the wall also adds the semi-curtain wall structure, and uses aluminum alloy frame window to increase the lighting of the building while make it more beautiful. The roof is constructed using white 900mm width white steel sheet and 760mm glass wool, composited and assembled on-site.
In addition to skylights, the roof also features independent lighting fixtures, but no additional ventilation features, such as ventilated ridges or ventilated balls. The wall on the side where the office building is connected to the warehouse is made of brick, and the other parts are consistent with the overall building. The ground is all made of the latest 600 type load-bearing plates with built-in steel bars for greater safety.
Like other conventional workshops, this project is also designed with brick walls, but the exterior is covered with tiles to increase the beauty. The two larger workshops features two 5x6m sandwich panel industrial lift doors on the side for a total of 8 doors, while the smaller workshop has 6 doors; For easy access, four small doors are added near the office in all three workshops, each with a canopy. The workshop floors are concreted both inside and out, and the interior has been reinforced. For safety reasons, The entire interior of the steel structure also is sprayed with fire-retardant paint. The overall design fully considers safety, thermal insulation, and aesthetics, and has received unanimous praise from the client.
Installation
At present, the project is basically complete, with finishing touches underway, primarily including interior cleaning and overall inspections etc. Delivery is expected in September, the customer is very satisfied with the completion time and the final effect.
