Project background
This project is a warehouse with size of 20X50X6M. The client contacted Dorian and shared a 3D drawing. Engineer studied the drawing and check the design of this steel building. Client told Dorian that this warehouse need insulation and the steel structure need to be green. In order to provide products that satisfy client, Dorian also communicated with client about the green color with their color card, in this way, they confirmed what client need and provided a customized color for the steel warehouse.
Dorian also studied the 3D drawing and communicated with client about the drawing and their special inquiry. After that, they provide a proposal drawing which not only meet his needs, but more economical as well. Client satisfied with engineer’s professionalism.
Project design
Dorian added the day-lighting panel on the roof, which can guarantee the warehouse get plenty of nature light. Considering the climate in Laem Chabang, Thailand and the usage of this steel warehouse, Dorian designed the roof system with single steel sheet + glass wool + steel mesh, which took the place of client initial thinking of using rock wool sandwich panel. Under the same effect of insulation, Dorian’s suggestion met the client needs, also reduced the volume and save transportation cost.
Client satisfied with the quotation and proposal drawing that Dorian shared, after the confirmation of the drawing, Dorian received the deposite and started the production process.
Project production
With professional equipment, Dorian finished the project production less than 25 days. During this period, Dorian also provide client foundation layout according to the project drawing, which made it possible for client to prepare the foundation locally in advance.
Due to the distance between Thailand and China, client not allowed to visit Dorian’s factory and check the cargoes. Considering this point, Dorian provided video inspect service to client to check the cargoes and updated client the production process in real time through video and real pictures in the factory. He inspected the quality of the steel, panel, doors and etc via these and was satisfied.
Secure Packaging for Transportation
In order to lower the risk of damaging during the transportation of cargoes, they prepared the special designed steel pallet with flat bars, which can help to fix the cargoes tightly and ensure that cargoes will not damaged due to violent shaking during transportation and safely arrive the project site. This solution can guarantee the installation process and help to solve the loading and unloading time.
Installation
The cargoes arrived Thailand successfully without destroy. According to the installation documents and videos, the warehouse was successfully installed and put into use.
