1000 Square Meter Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Structure Warehouse In Germany

In August, 2022, one 1000 square meters hot dipped galvanized steel structure warehouse is delivered to Germany. A month and a half later, the ship will arrive at Hamburg port, and the customer will receive the goods.
Project process
Customer sent the project drawings at the beginning of discussion, the drawings are very complete, not only including layout drawing, elevation drawing, structure drawing, even the dimensions of steel columns/beam, support, panels etc, and require that all the steel column/beam, support are European standard and hot dipped galvanized. Dorian’s engineer made a complete structure drawings according to customer’s drawings on the basis of totally meeting European standard and other requirements.
According to the building policy of Germany, additional small parts are needed under the main beams, like the following pictures, and it will increase the support force and stability between columns and beams. Beside of Germany ,most countries have this requirement, such as Algeria and other African countries, South America, Europe, etc. Designers should consider the building standards of different countries in the design process.
Customer initially chooses 100mm rock wool sandwich panel as roof wall panel, but due to the high sea transportation cost, eventually customer decided to purchase the panel locally, it can save a half of containers. Door is chosen the industrial door, which has a good insulation function, and is commonly used for large steel structure warehouse/workshop.
All the processing work ,including the production of Europe standard hot rolled H type steel, fabrication, hot dipped galvanized work of steel parts, was finished within one month. Dorian will send pictures and video of each step of the production to customers so that they can clearly know and see the production process of the product.
Package and delivery
The package of all the product must be finished prior to loading. During the packing, all parts will be checked several times, make sure the surface is clean and quantity is correct. The small accessories(bolts, nuts, glues, tools etc) will be packed with boxes/bags, then write the name and quantity on the box. For doors and accessories, the original packaging method is usually used, but sometimes another option is chosen: wooden boxes, depending on the space of the container.
Welding the steel pallet as base, all steel parts will put on the steel pallet orderly and tightly. In this process, engineer will put different steel parts according to the weight, length and volume of each goods, and each layer is separated by wooden blocks. Finally, fix them together with steel belt, steel rope and channel steel,which will guarantee the safety of goods, ensure that there is no damage and collision issue happened during the long transportation.
When customer receive the goods while Dorian also send the detailed drawings, brochure, and video about each step of installation process, so that the installation work will start orderly.
