In 2023, Dorian group delivered a 1600 square meters steel structure warehouse to Cote d'Ivoire.
Customer mentioned that he wanted to build a cashew nuts warehouse to store cashew nuts and make some simple processing work. Warehouse size is 20x50x6m at the beginning of discussion. Client want to expand the warehouse to 20x100x6m next year. Dorian group recommended client make a complete building this time.
Currently, the raw materials and transportation prices are at a good level, and prices of next year are out of control. Considering the raw materials price, transportation price and installation cost, client was agreed with Dorian’s suggestion, but cut the size from 20x100x6m to 20x80x6m.
Abidjan is tropical rainy climate, damp and hot, ventilation and insulation is very important, and cashew nuts warehouse also needs a good ventilation and insulation effect. Engineer designed a ventilation ridge for the roof ventilation, some windows for side ventilation, roof glass wool for insulation.
Common ventilation way is ventilation ball, ventilation ridge, and windows. Ventilation effect of ventilation ridge is better than others, but has high cost. Ventilation ridge is on the ridge of steel building, length is close to the length of steel building. Ventilation ridge can exchange the air of steel building through the difference of indoor and outdoor temperature, bring the fresh air for the steel building, achieve the ventilation effect. In addition, ventilation ridge can reduce the temperature of steel building in summer; help to exhaust harmful gases inside the steel building, protect the health of workers.
For the insulation of steel building, common way is use sandwich panel or glass wool rolls as roof wall cladding, comparing with the sandwich panel , glass wool rolls as roof insulation layer is more economic. Glass wool roller are made of glass wool and aluminum foil, thickness of glass wool are 50,75,100,150,200mm, more thicker more insulation; aluminum foil has a good waterproof, moistureproof, anti-corrosion, noise reduction function, and can improve the whole insulation function.
All the cargoes are manufactured within 20 days, packed in 2 days. 3x40HQ containers are needed to load the cargoes. Dorian group prepared 3 pcs steel pallets to fix the cargoes in advance. Engineer calculated the weight and volume of each item, then arrange the position of each item before package, and loading cargoes one by one according to the loading schedule.
Client will receive the goods in July, hope the whole installation process goes well.
