1050 Square Meter Warehouse in Bulgaria
Project information:
Project information: 25x42x7.25m Steel Structure Warehouse
Project Location: Sandanski, Bulgaria
After the client finished the erection of the first building of 23x66x7m workshop and received the cargo of 25x36x7m warehouse, the client was satisfied with the quality of the product and packing service, decided to order the last building for his business.

Designing
In 2023, the client’s plan was to build a truck service center of three buildings. While making design for the second building, 25x36x7m warehouse, Dorian was also instructed to draft the third hall, measuring 25x42x7m. Because the client aims for on site energy autonomy, the new building follows the same structural code and roof geometry as the second hall, maximizing solar panel coverage. To achieve the harmony of the whole center, all three buildings will be in same style.
When the client is ready to buy the third building, Bulgaria introduced stricter fire-resistance requirements for steel frames. The client therefore asked whether the existing buildings could be upgraded with fire-proof paint, and the third hall could be redesigned with concrete columns and a steel roof to cut coating costs.
Dorian redesigned an alternative plan according to his request and calculated paint quantities for each option. After reviewing the longer construction period associated with concrete columns, though the full steel column plan cost higher, the client retained the full steel solution and paid the deposit.

Production:
At the client’s request, production was postponed until after the Chinese Spring Festival to avoid peak freight rates. Dorian finished all the production drawing in advance so that production can start at any time. At the first week of March 2025, client find the freight rates dropped and requested to start manufacturing. Dorian immediately sent drawings to the workshop for manufacturing. Steel cutting, assembly, prefabrication, surface preparation, and white coat painting were finished in two weeks.

Packing&Delivery
Before the production started, client asked how many containers would be required, and if there will be any space left for additional cargo, since the shipping cost raised a lot in recent years, the client want all the container space being used properly. Dorian’s engineer team calculated that four 40HQ containers would be needed, with the last unit half empty for other cargo. The client decided to order some fire proof paint for previous buildings. To load as much paint as possible, Dorian removed the pallet in the last container, and manually loaded all the paint and part of the steel structure part.

Loading was completed in the first week of April 2025. The shipment is scheduled to reach the project site in July 2025.
When the cargo arrived, Dorian’s construction engineer will provide on site installation guidance to ensure smooth installation of the client’s building.
