Project details: A 660 square meters farm products processing workshop was located in Lucknow, India.
Project background:
As we know, there is a large population in Uttar Pradesh, India. The population of Uttar Pradesh takes up 1/5 of India. Rich population provides the developmental opportunity of farm products.
The various and output of farm products are in the first echelon of the country in this place. All of these conditions promoted the development of farm products processing industry. Customer’s workshop is also a farm products processing workshop. It will store and processing rice, maize, wheat etc.
Discussion process of project
In January, Dorian received customer’s steel workshop inquiry, the offer and drawings provided to customer within two days. Customer mentioned that there was a 5 ton crane in this workshop during further conversation, and he already purchased the crane locally. So in the next design process, Dorian’s engineer considered the crane beam and other requirements from the customer.
If the customer already purchased the crane, steel structure building supplier should confirm the crane weight, crane length, crane body height. It will be better if customer have the crane drawing, supplier will design the bracket/crane beam according to these data; But if customer do not have the crane drawings nor purchased the crane, we should consider the lifting weight, lifting height, other dates of the crane based on customer’s needs.
Package
After the Chinese New Year, customer informed us that the production work can be started. Production time of this project is about 15-20 days, all goods need almost one 40HQ container to load. For the packing work, a steel pallet will be provided first, then the goods will put the steel pallet orderly and tightly, finally use the steel belt and channel steel fix the goods, which will avoid the collision and damage issue happened during the long transportation.
Installation
In the middle of April, customer received the containers. The foundation work was finished in one month. The foundation base of this workshop is 1.0m above the ground. This type foundation base will increase the impact force of steel columns and protect the whole structure.
Dorian provide a layout drawing to explain the position of each column/beam. “GL-1, GZ-1......”.
Using the consecutive number to distinguish each column/beam, and a small steel card with number will tie on the steel column/beam. Customer will find the correct position of each steel column/beam and install them easily.
Cladding system: arrangement drawing clearly show the position and length of each roof wall panel. The length also will be marked on each panel when production process, these length is correspond with the arrangement drawing one by one. It is easy to find the correct position of each panel.
Now customer is installing the door and flashing, all the installation work will be finished in this month.
Remarks
Uttar Pradesh belongs to tropical monsoon climate, high rainfall in summer. For easy drainage, engineer design a long gutter under the roof eave, and some downpipe under the gutter. Roof panel use the large corrugated panel, the rain can flow out quickly.
