Project background
As we all know, Chinese kung fu is famous all over the world, the world-famous Shaolin Temple and Shaolin Kung fu are located in Henan Province, it’s close to Dorian factory. Today we will introduce a Kongfu school.
Dorian has 24 years rich experience in steel structure building filed, the products have been exported more than 30 countries, like the USA, Germany, Chile, Philippines, Ghana, etc. In addition to the foreign market, Dorian also do the domestic market, the Kung fu school is one of the domestic projects.
Design process
Normally the common types of steel structures on the market are H-type steel and truss structure. H-type steel structure building is installed by different bolts, while truss structure building is by welded. Moreover, Compared to H type steel building, truss structure is more light and more economical. At the beginning of the design, Dorian prepared H type steel proposal, but because of the limited budget, the solution was refused by the client. Dorian team checked the cost repeatedly, and then recommended truss structure. In the meanwhile, under the premise of safety, Dorian team changed the original H type column to round tube column, these two solution greatly reduce the total cost, and client is very satisfied with the solution finally.
The school should have insulation requirements, rock wool panel or EPS panel is a good choice. But the roof of truss structure is arched, sandwich panel can not be installed on the roof because they can not be bent. In this case, Dorian team used glass wool with single steel sheet as the roof, which is also has high insulation function, but with cheap price than sandwich panel. Moreover, Dorian use vacuum packing for glass wool if loading to foreign market, which save a lot of container space and reduce shipping cost.
In steel structure building industry, the most economical and regular height is 6M, but for this Kung fu school, students will do a lot of special movements during training, so Dorian team recommended 12M as the height. On the other hand, client have high lighting requirements, school has a high demand for lighting, in addition the traditional windows, Dorian team also added the skylight panel at the top of wall. The skylight panel go through the whole building, it greatly improves the lighting effect even when the lights are not turned on.
Installation
Dorian provides one-stop service from designing, manufacturing to shipment and installation, engineers and installation team can be sent to the project location to help client do the installation work if needed. The kungfu school is close to Dorian’s factory, Dorian arranged 8 skilled workers to help client install it. After 1 month hardworking, the school has been installed and put into use.
